Land of the long white... something.

Well, I finally made it over to NZ. When I was found (in my box) in the letterbox, I heard all sorts of funny noises, and rude words... made mostly by satanx, as I found out later.

They seem to like recording ID... it happens just about everywhere I go... maybe they've heard about this TOG bunch...

I found satanx had an extremely comfortable chair. When he found me on it, he made those funny noises and rude words again. I *DO* have feelings you know!

Satanx doesn't like having his photo taken, but purplex told him he had to. I don't think he likes me very much, or maybe he just really doesn't like purplex taking photos.

Purplex took me to her work. I met lots of lovely people, especially little kids, who wanted to take me home. One girl, Alicia tried finding out how much I was worth. Petine had to go do a price check. Apparently I'm not worth much. :( (Alicia's shirt didn't come out too well. I guess green and white stripes don't like compression well!)

I met a lovely lady by the name of Francis. Well, she was lovely til I tried taking the chocolate bar. Satanx told me she'd let me out without paying. He was wrong. She did funny things to me with her torch. It still hurts when I sit down. I think purplex saved me just in time from more nasty things. Purplex says I owe her big time.

Purplex took me to satanx's work later on. I asked if I could make a pizza. Satanx told me I could. So I took a look at some of the ingredients for a pizza.

Satanx then decided that maybe haggis pizza would be an idea! Once again purplex saved me. She said some of those rude words at satanx.

Ah well, thats all for now, I'm going travelling with them both in a few days, and then I'll post some more about this beautiful country.

Fair well my wee pet haggis.

So, I wonder who's going to take over TOG Haggis in my absence ?
Well, it doesn't really matter...

Off to School!

I went to school with Caitlin today. She's in Year 9.
For a long time she kept me in her locker...

But when her friends discovered me I became a hit. They all wanted to know WHAT I am and where I came from. Caitlin told them all about me, how I was caught in Scotland, and how I've been to America, twice! and been in Australia to places like Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and now Sydney. She even told them I had been to Broken Hill.

We went to the library and I was able to help out on the front desk for a while

It was thirsty work...

But it wasn't long before I got some more cuddles...

I was so glad I jumped for joy!

But when I landed again I almost got squished!

Caitlin and her friends introduced me to something called Acid... it's a music programme...

It sounded awful...

Then some reading...

And a note to my friends back home....

there were lots of other photos, but way says there's just too many to show.

Sydney here I come!!!

Hi Guys!

Well, I finally made it all the way to Sydney to Way’s home. It sure was nice to see those lovely girls out back of the outback in Broken Hill. They were so sweet to me. I even have a memento that one of them made for me.
Way is a very forgetful person. He had me locked up in my sleeping bag for exactly two whole weeks before he took me to work today.
Oh, today, let me tell you about today.
First off, he had to get me out of my bag!

You know, if you click on the picture a bigger one open up :) Sweet!

It was a bit of a squeeze but I managed to twist and turn and I was right as Rayne. heheh that's a bit of a joke. Way taught me some really good ones :)

Way was busy, so I gave him a hand with some of his work. He designs stuff.

Later, way said we should go down to the road for a drink at one of the clubs just for men like us. It seemed like a good idea to me, I’d been locked up for nearly three weeks so I was really thirsty.
We walked up Oxford Street for a little bit and Way said to wait here while he went into the liquor shop to get us some drinks…

While he was gone I thought of popping into this nice hardware store called the Tool Shed but I spied a great clothes shop instead. (you really have to click on the photos to see the detail)

He I am going into the store. The lady inside was very nice.

When I came out (nothing my size) Way was nowhere to be seen!
He’d left me all alone!

So I ran and ran until I was totally lost.
Way says he followed a trail of screaming bystanders who said they’d seen a giant rat run down the street. Surely they didn’t mean me?

That’s when Way found me in a dark alley.

I was so scared I ran away again and hid in this room with bars. Way says it took him an hour to coax me out again. He also said it was lucky he found me because a big, bad, Ancient_One works in that big building at the rear of the lane.

Way said to calm my nerves we should go for a walk down to Circular Quay and get some fresh air.
Well, what a beautiful place. This is a photo of the Sydney Opera House. Way, his family, and Vtreka Swental and his family went to a Beethoven Concert there yesterday. I wish Way had remembered to take me along too! I love Classical Music especially when it’s written by a Scottish composer like Beethoven!

When we looked to the left we could see the Sydney Harbour Bridge which just celebrated it’s 75th anniversary. Sydneysiders call it The Coat Hanger. I wonder why?

When I looked the further left I could see all those tall buildings around the Quay, Way says some really nice TOGgers work in that area. Way pointed out the brown building on the right. He says that’s the building he abseiled off. Once.

Way set me down on a step so he could get me in a shot with the Opera House behind. But he had to hurry because the little girl was going to snatch me away. That’s me, the little brown dot about centre left in front of the girl, Hurry Way, hurry!

Phew, we made it to the top of the stairs so we could get a better look at those amazing sails.

Hey, Pigeon stay over there!

Hehehe I tried to escape by jumping up on the sails, but it’s too steep. See those tiles I am sitting on, there’s more than 6 million of them, and they are not all white. Some are cream colour to help cut the glare!

On our way down again we snapped another shot of the city. See the tallest building there? That’s the one Tom Cruise abseiled from a helicopter and into the heating vents in Mission Impossible II. Ways says he and Tom Cruise have a lot in common.

Back to the car, “the meter’s running” said Way so across the Coat Hanger we go on our way back home.

Golly, it’s a big bridge. And did you know most of the steel came from England?

Ahhh back on the leafy North Shore again, Hey Way, where’s the road go? It looks like it drops off a cliff!!!

Agghhh just a steep hill, eh? Had me fooled.

Almost home, where Way says there’s some friendly cats waiting to meet me.
Well, good bye for now, I’ll post some more tomorrow.

In the middle of nowhere....OH NOES!!

Well here I am again, it's been a while since we last spoke but I arrived in the outback Broken Hill and I must say I fell in love when i saw my pretty little hostess and it turns out it was her birthday too!

Unfortunately i missed the party BUT didn't miss the cake her big sister made for her, I jumped right in....it was YUMMY!!*BURP*

I had fun with some balloon animals while the family cleaned up the party aftermath

For dinner I had fries!...well, she didn't seems to mind anyway :P

I helped little miss color in her cookie when she was feeling ill a couple of days later.....that was yummy too!

I went sight seeing with little miss and family......they don't call it the outback for nothing!

Beyond those big mounds is were the mining used to take place

I wonder what's in the opposite direction.... :O NOTHING!!

*whispers* that's broken hill city, well the main part anyways.

That is a big seat for a wee little lad.....I nearly fell off!

Lucky I had little miss and sister there to look after me :)

A memorial for miners who have lost their lives over the years,we didn't get to go inside as big miss forget her purse and it cost money to pass through.....maybe another time.

So I hung out with little miss and an emu.....he wasn't very talkative.

A freight train coming through, it's 2km's long!....which unbeknownst to us, we would see it up close shortly

Little miss and I soaking up the sun

What's that little miss???.....the set of LOTR mordor you say, let's go check it out!

Look at me....I'm a hobbit in the land of mordor!

Well this train did catch up with us.....or rather, we caught up with it, 2km's long eh, guess it's time to stop the car n wait.....CHOO WOOOO!!

Threee minutes later...

few more minutes later

boy, this train IS a long one

12 minutes later....it's still going!!!

FINALLY!!!....glad to see the arse end of that!

Next we went over to this lookout, where I had a great view and read up on little history about Broken Hill.

That's where we were before!.....if you squint hard enough you can see that big seat!

Little miss n I....we're bestest buddies :D

More mining in that direction....as well as nothing as far as the eye can see!

After a morning of sight seeing it was time to go home and get ready, for little miss was going to have a sleep over......

Little miss'mum had to blur out little miss' friend.....privacy reasons. BUT she was a very nice little girl, she is little miss' bestest friend too!

They introduced me to some nice girls......I even got a kiss ;)

I did spend some time with some nice chaps, though wouldn;t wanna mess with them ;)

But I spent most of may days hangin out here......whaaaaat???, had to do something to occupy my time whilst little miss was at school!

I did spend some nights with little miss' mum.....she's cool, she plays FPS games!!
We got drunk one night (truth be known it was more than once :P).....well I drank, she played! oh n I haven't turned gay with that pretty beaded thing on my tail, I just got bridgettetised!!! :D which i later put into my travel log book for safe keeping ;)......NO ONE TOUCH IT!!!...plz :)*HIC* *fart*

She knows how to own those toggers :P

Well my time in Broken hill was coming to an end, it was time I be on my way, I didn't want to leave little miss as she took very good care of me and i had lots of fun with her BUT I have many new friends to met and have to move on.

Goodbye little miss and Bridgette (Thank you for my beaded lucky charm :D)....I shall miss you but will always remember my bestest buddy :D and cos i have the smell of your perfume on me :P

Oh, don't mind the glasses, I had to borrow them due to excessive drinking the night before :P....man that homemade togger whiskey is GOOD!!!

Until next time.....bye bye for now, my next adventure awaits me!

Haggis!
